Eight Wheeler

Here's a picture of my buddy skating his eight wheeler at the park in Santa Barbara this weekend. You don't see many of these any more.

It's pretty hard. You have to place your feet over the set of trucks you want to use depending on if your going frontside or backside. I suck but this guy, (Jeff) is getting pretty good. Thanks for the kind words, we shoot pics all the time.

lol wow. I never even heard of a 8 wheeled skateboard. Thats looks so cool though, It looks like its very hard to grind stuff with that.

Back in the 70's there was a guy named Lonnie Toft who skated for Simms that kind of pioneered the eight wheeler. Not many people ride them anymore but it's another cool facet of skating.

That deck is made by Bull Dog Skates out of Santa Monica, CA. Run by one of the early Dogtowners Ray Flores. He's posted a few of my pics of Jeff on his site as well.

I've seen a 10 wheeler (5 on each truck..and the wheels totally cover the truck) in zellers. but this 8 wheeler is actually cool.
