OK....... i was watching and turned it to cbs which CSI Miami was on, when i saw a glimpse of it i saw a dude skating on a half-pipe. So i started to watch it and what do know.............. it was tony hawk...................... he was the dude that died from some werid way and they had to figure out what happened. All i can say is tony hawk cant act and my respect for him dropped even more.

Did you guys see this? If not what do you still think of Tony Hawk? Still got some respect for me or not at all?

Dude. If you actually watched the show, you'd know that Tony Hawk had about 2 lines. Those were the lines when he was getting the crap beat out of him by his girlfriend when she found out he was "cheating" on her. You know, "Stop! I don't even know an Amber!" He was dead throughout the entire show and was only seen during the flashbacks.

And another thing, if you actually watched the show, you would know that his girlfriend was angry at him because he hadn't grown up. He was 35 and still skateboarding. Seriously, think about it. Do you guys have an idea of what you're going to be doing when you're 35? I know for a fact a lot of you guys are slow progressors and your hopes of becoming sponsored are pretty much pipe dreams. Skating will just be a hobby if you are doing it at that age. This is Tony's career, and if he wants to make money off of it doing whatever, so be it. I for one was thrilled when Tony Hawk's Pro Skater came out. Let's see, how many of you people were introduced to skating by Tony Hawk's Pro Skater or the X-Games? Don't lie to yourself. Tony Hawk is still the pioneer of vert skating. He still skates vert better than pretty much anyone. What the hell is there to hate about him? He brings coverage to skateboarding, which in turn brings mainstream acceptance. I absolutely cannot stand being looked down upon when I am skating, having people pretend to not notice me, look down when they walk by, or think I am going to mug them. Stuff like this brings our image up because all the old farts without a clue watch CSI.

Get over it. Everyone knows you are jealous when you act this way. Just because your talent won't get you to places like that doesn't mean you need to hate someone who has made it.

yeah, too many people diss him cuz they probably dont like vert. i bet if you tried vert you would look at him different. and i agree with dsc, he pretty much brought up skating boarding and made it more popular

totally agree with dsc. I mean come on, i know NONE of you are better than Tony Hawk at skateboarding. It really pisses me off when people start disrespecting him because he IS skateboarding, he was like the main man who introduced skateboarding to people. And him being on CSI.....he's not an actor, but if one of you had an oppurtunity to act on a show and be on tv i know that most of you would want to take that once in a life time oppurtunity so don't even start. Have some respect for the 40 year old guy who actually does still skate, he hasn't retired yet people....just because you havent seen him skateboarding on tv recently doesnt me he stopped skating.

well put that way it makes u see it in a better light, but doesnt it bother u when people only associate skateboardin wiv people like tony and not the "the ordenary guys who enjoy it but dont have sponsers"
