Ok seriously...What is the point of this thread? I mean yeah if your fat and out of shape you wouldn't be able to skate as easily but I know some heavy kids who can skate well but thats because they exercise etc. Common sense wouldn't you think?

its a complement MR. MODERATOR....i agree...its pointless....but to anser the question...if ur fat u cant skate as good. end of discussion...yea yea u might argue that u know ppl who can skate that r fat...im sayin if u took a skinny and a fat kid who were on the same level, said they had a certain amount of time to perfect a certain amount of tricks, the skinny one would prolly do better. period.

80 pounds? thats pretty light. im 6' and weigh 15. i dont think i need to lose weight but there are people that weigh 130 and think they do. if your really fat it would afect it but a little chub never hurt anyone

Being skinny can be just as much a hinderance as being large. To be honest, I see most larger people have a decent leg strength to body weight ratio, while most scrawny guys have thighs I could wrap one hand around.

I think it all comes down to natural or learned coordination and leg strength. Granted, most of the best skaters are medium builds, its entirely possible to be a good skater if you are mildly overweight I think.

I'm guessing you mean 150, but i'd be funny to see somebody 6 feet and 15 pounds

I think there's a difference in weight...My friend weighs like 110 and is 5'5 and gets a shitload of air/hangtime. when he does flip tricks. I'm 6'0 and weigh 170 and I dont get close to as much air as he does.

Or maybe I just suck.
