The end of skateboarding in certen places

Hey rite the police have just posted a letter thru every1s letta box in my uncles village. Its saying that we are from now on not alowed 2 skate except on saturdays, sundays, bank holidays and between 3pm and 7pm! How stupid is that? The locals must have relly been anoyed. SUpoosedly they r still not happy and want skating 2 be completely stopped in that village. Its relly unfair. I go 2 my uncles some times and there r some relly nice spots! Anyone else had any major bans put down on skating in there town or village or region of a city? or anything. Even if its a ban down 1 street! Also tell me if u managed 2 get rid of the ban and get the cops on ur side ( and tell me how!) Thx

well they can do it i think its if something like 75% of the population of a certain place sign a petition about stopping boarders. If enof ppl do then they sometimes end up doing it i dnt relly know though. Its not fair cops take notice of wat old ppl want but not kids it is a load of s**t

Cops have been skate proofing downtown's best ledges and rails, and if you skate at the bank or post office and get caught you get arrested and your parents have to pick you up, and then there's court. If you skate at the movie theater, the cops will steal and or break your board.

hey i live in rochdale greater manchester area. im not completely sure that its banned but i think if u skate in a busy public place e.g. near the town centre then u can get fined

im lucky in 1 way, at least we have no cops in our village, but the bad side is the nerest carpark has loads of security and police patrolling, and the nerest skatepark is way further than that

there are just no skating signs here, and if you get caught the worst ive had done is 100$ fine. most the time we just get asked to leave

I was skatin in a parking lot (there are like no good spots to skate where I live) and like 4 different people in cars try to run me over. Well, not really, but the cars kept parking near me even when there were better spots to park. That sucked so I skated in a funeral home's parking lot. No one is ever there.

dam bloody pricks across the road. Last night i went out skating for about 5 minutes and the husband guy came out and had a go at me. He wouldnt listen to my reasons as to why i was skating. Then his bloody 18 year old on came out and they both had a go at me, then the stupid drunk wife came out and shouted at me! So my dad sorted it all out, but now he says im not allowed to skate that curb, but im allowed to skate the curb right by my house. Then he says im only allowed to skate there for 15 minutes each day. Its beginning to become really unfair!

well weve tried billons of surveys and i got annoyed wid em and went 2 the actual council and knocked on the door. i tried 2 tlk 2 them bout it and they told me to **** off!!! how unfair. Some old ppl dont mind skaters. I had a chat wid an old man the otha day. He sed he wished he had a board, cos his son was a skater before he died of cancer. its no big deal. cops are dumb period! so just learn cop patrol patterns and where you are aloud to skate. cops talk alot but they usaully just leave you alone. plus i have been stoped on a warning like 30 times no lie. plus if all else fails run there not gonna catch you. :-5: :-41: :-16:
