hey...i was just wondering if bruised heels are the kinda blue shades u get around the bottom of your shoe around the edges? and if so, whats so bad about em? i have them, and they dont really effect me that much, or any at all

uh are you talking about 'blue shades' on your actually foot or shoe?

no mate. thats just discoloration on your shoe. a bruised heel is when you land with weight over your heels off a drop and your actual heels of your feet get bruised and it hurts to walk and stuff. happened to my friend trying to ollie off a head height loading dock yesterday.

Bruised heels are the worst....except for maybe bruised tail bones...and broken bones or just about anything that keeps you away from skating for more than a week.

Jesus how did you confuse that with shoes. Shoes dont get bruised, if you bruise your heels of your foot, expect back pain for a few days.

Simmer down converge_es, ive only been skatin fer a couple months and im trying hard to learn what i can. i thought this cause it was on the heel of my shoe, and it was the exact shade of a nasty bruise ud get on your leg from bailing...i didnt know if it was like a figure of speech er something like that would effect the shoe itself cause u know how a bruise is bad and a "bruise" on a shoe, might be bad too. so i was just asking....dont get excited and wet your pants over the matter.

I have mine on my right foot from jumping down a roll in to avoid flattening a blader, you think it's gone but a little thing brings it back, i will have days when i can't skate due to landing stupidly.

i dont get them often, but once, not long ago, i was skating a ledge, stuck, then stepped back off the board and landed directly over my heel kind of hard. it hurt and did that jumpy runny thing where you go in circles laughing and acting like its really bad.

now that ive been skating for way longer (in reality only about 3 months longer) i too have begun to have badly bruised heels from sets and what not. this was an attempted f/s 180 over a six, but right about when my mate took the picture, i decided it wasnt doable, so i dragged my foot so i could guide the nose and board back to being straight and so i could land without bailing. next attempt, i really tryed hard, landed about at about 120 degrees maybe 40 degrees short from a safe landing...i landed on my heel and i have an actual bruised heel...yey :-37: ..heres the link
