Try paying attention in class . . . that helps. Oh and notes are good too.

Yeah, i'll admit i am a waster in school but i'm a clever waster so i usually stay on top of things but it isn't the way to do it, i'm finding it harder now that i have coursework to hand in so try and get your grades up and just because they're up doesn't mean you can stop working. Sure working is hard but stick at it, leave a certain time to work every night, skating maybe great now but 10 years time when you need a job and can't skate as much and your parents won't pay to support you you will regret not getting sorted in school.

Have you thought about getting tutored on the subjects your struggling in, or maybe enrollement in a learning strategies class. Also alot of schools offer periodical extra credit after school programs, Their usually held once a month and could easily raise a failing grade to a passing one..plus helps your overall GPA. Talk to your counselor. He or she should be able to point you towards some options.
peace.

just stay up on things, get some add medicine and use it, it really works. Ha seriously coffee works for me to. If i drink some coffee before school i pay attention at least in my first 2 classes. The key is to not get behind. I always say damn if i can skate for 4 hours a day i could at least study for 1.

www.antistudy.com is my friend. I don't have that great of grades, most a's and b's, but my math and science teachers are real bitches, and my math teacher is a horrible teacher. Trust me, taking math a grade above you sucks balls. If you don't like the taste of coffee, put in some chocolate syrup (what I do). This may be hard, but try not to sit next to friends or really annoying kids, but it can be good to sit next to a friend that isn't talkative so you can copy when you fall behind. Eat breakfast and lunch, chewing gum helps too. There are 24 hours a day, and if that's not enough, there's always the night, don't be lazy dude, if you are almost asleep and remember that homework, get your ass up and do it (what I didn't do last night).
