Should I keep going?

Hello, after reading the injuries thread I Thought I'd make a post about my worries, I love skating i'm only begginer but I love it, but I'm afraid of injuring my hands. The reason why is because I play guitar, I love guitar more than skating. Now should I quit skating because of the risk of injuring my hand.

Please help, I'm really confused???

i play guitar and i skate i like both the same. you can quit if you want but if you learn to bail properly then your hands will be fine.

I play both guitar and skate and to tell you the truth I never really thought about it. Ive broken both wrists once and broken 2 fingers and my guitar playing never really got worse because of it. The only thing is waiting for them to heal to play again. Just wear wrist pads or something if your really worried about it.

i play guitar and i love it more then skating (don't tell my board she'll get jealous) and ever since i broke my wrist last year i've been sorta more carefull with that area but it didnt stop me skating. wearing a wristgard is the best solution

if your a beginner then you wont injure your hands alot by just falling on the ground. When you start doing sets and rails, thats when the injuries start.

I would wear wrist guards if I were you, I plan on doing so.. I was skating the bowl today, and thankyou reflexes.. :/ I sprained my wrist, and had to cancle my guitar lesson tomorrow. If you are really that embarrassed just wear them under a sweatshirt.
