hey guys....i skateboard alot and go to skateparks and see the "bikers" doing all there super tricks over boxes and stuff.Anyway, i was thinking about starting bmxing along with skating. I'm thinking about going down to my local sporting goods store and getting a gt. it light as hell. Any sugestions?

What model is the GT? Also how much is it? You dont want to buy something too expensive to start of with. When i started bmxing i got a second hand We The People which cost $400 bucks new and i got it for $120. I think its better to start of with a good/expensive bike so you get used to what they feel like. When you get better then you can buy i decent bike.

Personally i think you should get a brill bike to start off. Get one which is specialized in your style of riding i.e. ramp,dirt, etc... Look around different shops for the best buy you can get, even look on Ebay, might have some good bikes from cheap prices. Im not saying dont buy the GT but before you buy make sure you have had a good look around at all the other possibilties.
