i need help! i want to take the gyro off my bmx and run a cable straight to the back. i have a hoffman disrupter EL2. so if anyone knows how to take gyro off of a bmx then please help me! thanks.

you cant use a screwdriver you need to take off the stem and take every thing off the forks then just dont put the gyro back on the bike but it is eaiser to keep the gyro on beacuse wheen you are doing bar spins you can keep doing it but with a one line brake cable you would have to stop and turn your bars back the other way

i took my gyro off a couple off weeks into getting my new bike because it was sticking i feel that a straight brake line to the back brakes is a hell of alot easier and it looks better. gyros are screwed

haha this is funny cuz a week ago i pulled my back brake too hard and my gyro bent, that pos. i tried taking it off but part of it wouldnt come off so i just left it and now im goin without a back brake, but i will not use this bike much anymore cuz im gettin a road bike soon but still it pisses me off that the gyro is made shittlily

I would never ride a Gyro again. I had a real good brake setup once with an Odyssey straight cable and it braked so good.
