There's nothing really to it except just being able to also backside 50-50 comfortably, along with what you mentioned. All you have to do is get it in at an angle and bend your knees like you are getting into a fs board. The rest is pretty self-explanatory, it's just committing to locking in. If you aren't close then just work on those until you feel like you can hit it. A big thing to remember is keep the pressure on your back foot when you are locking in so you can stabilize once you get on. Focus on BEING LIGHT FOOTED or you will snap your deck no problem.
I dunno, practice some. Hopefully this helps.

yes. being lightfooted helps alot. ive snapped countless decks on these so i will tell you how i do them so you can skip the heartbreak.
1. when you ride up to the rail, come parralell, so you can get up and over it with ease. lean forward a bit but not too much.
2.when sliding it, try to slide it like a f/s boardslide. its easier this way, because if i tell you something else youll most likely slam and cut yourself in half or something, the youd die and that would break my heart......so, yeah do it like a fs board.
3. for me, i come out in fakie 98.7654% percent of the time, because i find it easier goin with the flow then shiftin my ass all the way back around to regular. but its different for everyone.
