I'm in need of some one who can debate in a school setting. You see, in my speech class, the final assignment is to have a debate paper and debate one other person in front of every one (the subject being the war in iraq). but you see.... i cant debate and i cant find any thing for the pro staying side, and even less acctually helpful things about the leaving side. So could any one please lend a brother a hand? Links, Tips on debateing, a good format, anything. It would be much apperciated. Thanks to anyone who helps.

I know a ton about the war in Iraq, being as how my cousin was there, two of my friends are currently there, and the fact that I'll be goin into the Marines in about a month...so...if ya want the pros...I'll help ya out...even though I don't agree with the war.

1. It's supposed to help stop the amount of terrorism from the Middle East (Bullsh*t)
2. To get Saddam Hussein out of power, since he was a danger to the world.....
3. To help spread democracy throughout the Middle East.
4. To free the nation of Iraq and it's people.

If ya need more details, I can probably help ya out...I'll try and dig ya up some links too..

Thank you Mr. Theif and to Mr. wind, Id take any form of help you can give. I try to remember that i need both sides, but at times its hard to keep that in focus. Judging by those 4 tid bits, id say you might have a balenced knowledge of it. I will follow any link you give, as long as its not to porn or a virus. God bless you.

One of the reasons is to get the oil before China can.

I'd explain it, but I have a lot of shi.t on my plate to do.

We are puppets to israel. 911 was a planned attack by us and Israel to put fear in the eyes of Emericas and granting us access to a unjustified war for oil. The Israles hated suddam and so did Bush, even though he posed no immediate threat to us we took him out. Lies about WMD and 100000 iraq citizens later we are still in Iraq. If we pull out now there will be civil wars that will result in a super power to take over Iraq for the oil. Therefore we are stuck spending billions of dollars setting up a country that will imminently fall.

The thing is people need to want the change and need to do it themselves. We didnt need some super power to tell us to rebel against the British in the revolution. Anyway Emerica will feel that presence of this war down the road. If one adds up how much the war has cost so far it come to EVERONE in Emerica roughly paying $1500 and that would pay off what we have spent. That includes infants and little kids. This war is spawning terror not preventing it. The thing is Bush will probably be off in the bahamas with our tax dollars when it happens.

unless you're 100 percent sure i dont really think it's the greatest idea in the world to send this kid off with information like that, it's basically handing him an 'F'

it's no wonder you cant find anything for the 'pro staying' side there isnt any merit in doing so, the fact that american and british troops are exacerbating an already devastating situation isnt means for them to stay in the slightest fashion.

I'm gonna suck at giving you advice because i'm so anti-war/staying it will just end up in a rant which will be of no use...sorry

Well, if they really are there for oil, then the price of oil would get higher if they just left....

I agree with you...we shouldn't be in Iraq...I saw the point in going to Afghanistan of course, but Iraq no...but we're there now and to be honest, we can't just up and leave... There's a lot more to war now with all the UN regulations. Even though they didn't help us, we still have to follow UN regulations and if you invade a country and overthrow it's current government, you pretty much have to rebuild it's government and it's country...and as far as the oil issue goes, if they would just tap our oil reserves in Alaska, we'd be a lot better off with gas prices...

No, that will not happen in this generation. And if it does, we will all die.
