Hi. I just started bmxing, and I dont know how to fix a part on my bike. I dont know what it is called, but its the little thing on the handlebars that lets the handlebars spin around without the brake chord getting in the way. It kinda leans one way, and my brakes are like really tight so right when I squeeze them, the wheel stops. Could someone tell me how to fix it please.

Well the part you are talkin about is called a gyro or ogyro or somthing that ends with "yro" and maybe you can just loosen up the brake cable, you'll see a little thing on it that you can ajust(i dunno if this is it, just a suggestion.) "my brakes are like really tight so right when I squeeze them, the wheel stops" lol isnt that what theyre sposed to do?

I dont know, but when its not like that it doesnt do that, and when i turn or something, it makes a clicky noise. Thanks for the suggestion though, turns out i already tried it. The first time i fixed it, I was bunnyhopping and it just popped back into place. Thanks though.

Take the gyro off, and just run a cavle to the back. the you dont have to wory about the gyro, but this means you'll have to turn the bars back round everytime you do barspins.
