Can you 180 flip? Thats a good place to start. Also, use the 'search' feature on the site, it will bring up loads of topics like this one.
put your footing like your gonna do a kickflip with you back foot on the corner of the tail, furthest away from you. Scoop the board with this foot real hard (dont forget to pop!) and make a simple flick with your front. Your back foot is the main driving force of a tre flip. Btw move you foot further down the board if its not spinning enough.
Heres me doing one in sloooow moootion. so you can see: http://www.ramprage.com/forums/media/showphoto.php?photo=257&cat=500&page=1

...cup it? I'm guessing, this trick is hazardous to your love unit?

No. It's not at all. I don't know where he got that idea from. If anything it's hazardous to your shins and ankles.
The trick is all in the back foot. Position your back foot into the little pocket before your tail, and point your foot so it slightly hangs off the edge, parallel to the tail. Your front foot should be parallel to the back foot, and your knees should be pointing the same direction, about 45 degrees. Lean over your front leg, and scoop the tail. It's all in the foot positioning. The scoop shouldn't take much power. Give your front foot a light flick like a kickflip, and bring the back foot back around to land. Your front foot catches first, then the back. HTH.

Yeah, that's kinda what I thought...It's just a varial kickflip on sterioids, right? Soon enough I'll get those but I haven't really tried them yet...I haven't even tried 360 shuvits yet.

I landed a few of these for the first time today until I took one straight into the ankle(with the truck or something). I have found that timing the flick of the front foot and the direction you flick is crucial to a nice flip and nice landing. Flip your front foot somewhat outward and when the board has rotated a but less than 90 degrees.
