Really really old people.

Today I was skating around and I have seen so many old people. When ever i would do a trick they would have like heart attacks. I ollied a 5 set today And some old dude was freaking out. Later i kickfliped the curb to a 360flip over a manhole and another ol guy was trying to cuss me out or somthing because of skating. Also a old guy lives next door to me and hes really creepy and when ever i skate outside my house n hes always sitting on his porch looking in one direction. He never moves. I just had to share.but..

Do you people ever have Large quanitys of old people roaming the streets and such?

yeah only the old people in my town are weird if you do just an ollie there all like how does the board stick to your feet and stuff like that lol and i also have neighbors that alls they do is sit on there parch and drink beer and watch us skate or just watch everything (there isn't much to watch cuz i live in nebraska haha)

Yeah i live in a little town next to the great lakes and the old people flock here during spring and summer. But they normally dont come outside.

there was this one guy who worked at the lumber yard and when we were skating there onetime he sat on some wood and watched us. eveytime someone would land sumtin he would clap and say good job. he told us to be careful if we missed the trick.

haha sounds like the oldies in our town they wait untill we land the trick like one time we put a kicker up to a bike (when i wasn't a good as i was now) n/e way 2 old people just waited staring at us and waited for me to land it it took like 5 tries but they went istatic and said stuff like thats amazing and how does the board stay on your feet when you do that lol there weird. nebraska has fried all of the old people here lol

The old weezers around here never really do anything. Their main schedule is Church. Eat. Sleep. Repeat.

There is this one old dude that comes up to the skatepark and plays his violin for us. He is pretty awesome.

My town is comprised of like 75% old people. Those old and crazy bastards are all rednecks though...so most of them are still goin to the bars on Friday nightsa-another scary thing about my town..same number of bars as there is churches-and as far as it goes to skating though, my gram lets us use her paved driveway to skate in...lets us set up things to ollie over and boardslide and such..she doesn't care.

On my street, while I was still learning to Ollie, and do basic tricks, and what-not.. I'd always have this old man come waddling by, and tell me "You're going to break your neck!" (He clearly had mental issues), I'd always respond with "Nah, I'm not".. in which case, he'd repeat what he said.

But, my favourite story, was when I was skating downtown Toronto on a half-day at school. I was skating with my friend near a bunch of seniors who were talking.. they kept watching us like hawks, and commenting on our skating.. finally, one got up, walked over to us, and asked us "shouldn't you punks be in school?".. me, being the asshole that I am so proudly am, responded with "shouldn't you be contributing nothing to soceity, and bitching and complaining for more money?.. oh, wait! You are!".. He started yelling at me, and demanding that I show him respect.. so, I skated away.

y should we show them respecet when they cant do anything with the world anymore other than to make it stink like retirement home. they should be the ones respecting us for one becasue of how we can skate and defi the laws of physics and two we can change the world and at least do sumin with it lol.

I hate it when old people are yelling at you at random times and you weren't doing anything bad, the other day i was holding my board after coming out of a Deli and this one guy in a Hawaiian Shirt said "no skateboarding allowed" so i said "this isn't your damn deli" and then he started talking about back in his day kids blah blahblah belt blah blah blah or something. theres this one street near my school that smells like an 90 year old italian man.

to me, it seems really reall old folk like, say 60+ are fascinated by skaters. people mid 30's and 40's and 50's (excluding skaterat) are the ones who get all angry and stuff.

old people populate 75 or more percent of the Grange area...about 15 percent is kids and only 10 will be normal adults 20-40

I think the easiest way to handle old people is act like the "sweet, innocent little kid" if ya show them respect, they'll treat you with the same respect most of the time. Don't cause problems and they most likely won't cause you any problems, but as 360 said, some are just flat out hateful..

Well i worked at a marina with alot of old people there. It was like it was splite in half and half was nice/cool old people and the other dick heads. Idk they arent all bad but i hate when they stare when i skate.
