Hey I'm wanting to build a half pipe in my back yard because the nearest skate park is almost 2 1/2-3 hours away. But what I need to know is would it be better to build it out of would or cement or sheet metal, and about hw much would it cost?

wood, $500 or so for a 4ft tall mini, 8 wide... just an estimate... sheet metal is very hard to use and cement is more $ than you would think and very hard to build ramps with unless you know what you are doing...

Yeah wood all the way, its farely cheap(though if I were you I would deffinately buy treated) and its also readily availible.

well to built a cement half pipe it takes a hell of alot more experince than wood, it costs more, and you might need planning permission to build it so go with wood all the way
