broke a kingpin

i broke my kingpin on my phantom 2's kingpin... i had them for 2 or 3 months and then yesterday the kingpin just broke i set my front down after a sweet manual and then i stoped when i picked up my board my truck fell apart. i dono about you but ive never seen a king pin just break or break anytime but im sure it happens but it was just weird

yea deffinatly not getting them again the best trucks i had were murcury's and they came on my first board but ive never found or heard of them again

I got phantom 2's and mine are doing fine(apart from crappy bushings). I had em about 4 months. Got some big stuff on em too.

i wouldnt sweat the kingpin break, although they are a bitch to hammer out, sometimes odd things happen, i broke a couple kingpins in my day, just learning dumb stuff... just try to hammer it out, get pissed at it and hours later youll be all set again

I have heard alot of stories about Phantom Kingpins breaking easily.

I've broken about 5 kingpins so far this year.. It's nearly always on flat to, which gets on your tits.

I love venture's, but I've broken like, 2 or 3 kingpins on flat with em..that's always a pain in the ass! Looks pretty funny though, cause I usually find a way to slip and fall after it breaks.

I only broke one, just turned into my drive way and it snapped clean in half. Looked like a tit cause i just fell straight onto my face:D.

phantoms can be good beginner trucks but im not sayin your a beginner theyre pretty light but i dont know how much they cost.

I think there good trucks, just the bushings suck. My GK axel bent off a 6 set and i've ollied off a 7 foot mini(in my gallery) and they were fine. They grind well and have plenty of space and there light. Dunno why you all hate em.

I only ever get trucks with a decent king pin in them. Gring king and Tensor are good. Ventures are the worst for king pins unless your a pussy or featherlight, they're easy to snap and always jam inside.
