just some shit thrown together, the only reason im showing this is cause im dissapointed in some of the filming and need to go back to refilm it, im espcially mad at the 5-0 the picnic table, but im deffintaly refilming that cause i wanna send some footage to 411 to get some credits and my friends name out.

That table Fnoseblunt was sweet. The rail ollie was smooth and the grabs in bowl were cool, too. And yeah, your camera setup works well.

That was sweet as dude! I real liked the lines on picnic bench they worked real well and the gap over the rail. Kudos on your filming too, real pro!

How long have you been filming for? I'm serious, you do very well for an amateur. I was expecting him to say "Yea Scuba, woo!" after he did the noseblunt. I wanted to get into filming, too, but I have no idea what sort of camera I can accomodate into my budget :( Anyway, good stuff again.

Not to get down on you, but in all your long shots, they are pretty boring, use the zoom buttons. Make it interesting, just some basic zooming can make long shots look much better. Widey shots look good, but i mean, not that hard to strap on a big widey and film something. Looks good tho

lockdiz, i know exactly what you mean, i lack in the long lens, the problem about the spots we goto are usually theres no where to creative for long lens shots. im going to work on alot of rolling long lens, and the zoom on the vx1000 is slower then most other mini dv cameras, but it still works.

You can always be creative with long shots, zoom at there face before they pop, zoom to the feet when they land, anything that looks cool. You dont need a fast zoom either, i have a VX2000 and its not the zoom speed, its how its used

have you ever used the vx1000? its got some very very slow zooming, and when you skate with people who like to skate alot faster then most people, its hard to zoom in on a person and zoom out when you would like too. I made i wont be able to film anyone this week until thursday or sunday cause i didnt get to goto philly like i was hoping, nice choice on camera by the way. im looking to buy a vx2000 around december to have a day and night camera.
