These trucks are specially developted for Longboard (181mm), Slalom (110mm/130mm), Vert (145mm), Freestyle (109/122) and Street (129mm), with different sizes and hardness for each terrain.

Old news. They seem awesome except in hot weather when the urathane gets softer which in turn makes your trucks "looser" well....i guess that happens with normal bushings as well. If I could find a place to buythem I would be all over them in a second

That's one my missions with UpTrucks: to make these babies avaiable for the skaters everywhere.
Any cues?

I'll stick with conventional trucks, thank you. They look clunky and heavy as hell.

Lighter then a normal truck...

no.
but, for one, i dont have to buy some ugly chunk of whatever that is just to get rid of hang ups, which i dont even get.
two, as far as turning, thunders are probably the best at that, so i dont need those things for that either.
other than that, i really dont think those can possibly offer anything else.

Since my skateboard doubles as a melee weapon, i don't figure these fUtUrIsTiC implements will be of any use to me.

CeXa21 = pwned by spenser. I totally agree with spenser, trucks were made to be made out of metal not urethane.

Skateboarding trucks are based on a 50's design of roller skates trucks, with minor modifications.
Once urethane changed Skateboarding, when it was used for wheels...
To put down something just for it's looks, without checking how it works?
Ok then...

Dude I'll just say this and it has already been brought out. I like to keep my bushings tight, and now that its 100 degrees out its really hard to do, I can imagine that those urethane trucks would be even worse.
If you got some free to give me, then yeah I'd try them but I'm not gonna lay down money on a new idea when my Thunders still work fine.

smell yea the only reason i skate is 1) because it makes me look cool and 2) because all the girls love how manly i am for having real trucks.
no but seriously aesthetics is a huge part of product design, and as these trucks look like some kid's quasi-successful high school workshop project, i will hardly be writing to santa claus this year with them at the top of my list.(or on it anywhere for that matter)
