Like the title says...How many fast do you go through a deck?
My decks usually last me a month and a half. And I dont stop skating a deck until the grip is pretty smooth and the grip tape is peeling from all directions and it feels like cardboard when I ollie, with bad razor tail and a big chip from the tail is missing.
One of my friends has his board for about 3 months each. I read reveiws on here and people say they last anywhere from 1 to 5 months. Do you guys think its the weight?
Im 6'0 170lbs, hes 5'6 130lbs.

has nothing to do with weight unless your like 500 pounds. its how much you skate and how hard you skate when i was little i could skate a board for 1 year and it would only have to be replace cuz it was water loged now i skate a board for month max. its all how long and how hard you skate.

Mine last 3 months if I try really really hard not to scrape to much (if at all) on my kickturns and not land in the middle of my board on accident when doing ledges.

Mine usually last six months basically because all I do is drop in and a bunch of kickflips off stuff.

Depends. I've had ones last 5 months, and I've had ones last 15 minutes. My record is breaking 3 decks, in two days.
One off of a 3 set, another off of a 4 set, and the last one off of a bank. That was a sad, sad day.

I religiously skate lib tech boards so mine last 3 months on average. This is pretty good considering we have a 5 foot leedge like a block away and a 7 foot lege at the comunity colege that we frequently skate.MMMMMMMMMMMMFIBERGLASSMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

i don't skate much anymore, plus if i do, it would most likely be small regaining moves instead of doing the next big thing

i go through one a month. Thats untill it breaks. If I just go through grip i regrip it not bye a whole new board thats expensive. So one a month.

About 2 months but i don't snap them, i just do big ollies out of ramps at the park so they lose pop quickly.

It's hard to keep up with the expenses of skating. The shoes, the decks. So many stuff that needs replacment. I gotta save all my money for liek a month.

Well usually about 6 months, but my current deck last me about a month, I thinks its cos of the big sets I have doing recently. I've got a new one in the post now.

I'm on my last of my 5 blank decks, and I still have to order another set, so this one has lasted me a long as time. It has about 4 cracks on the first layer on it. I don't think that if you do big stuff decks break easier, because I did the 8 like 5 times monday and it didn't break. It's all in the way you land (feet over bolts, absorb the shock) that determines how fast boards break. But yeah, doing a 15 foot ledge might break a board.

Its called a job. :-41:
Or rewind back to a week or so when i was unemployed, I have hook-ups at skate shops. They'll sometimes provide me with a free board, or give me one at a reduced price. If that doesnt work, I seek out one of my sponsored friends and bum a board off him. If that doesnt work out, I'll try and ask the parents if they can help me out. If that fails, then I got a couple spares I can use until I can get a fresh board.
what i think is that as you get better, your boards don't last as long. I guess its cuz u have a larger variety of tricks, a larger repertoire of obstacles to skate... just more diversified. And typically, as you get better, you tend to skate harder and more.
