Uhm... There's this stuff I've seen in CCS, it looks like a eraser.
But really, don't even worry about splotches of dirt on your griptape, it doesn't effect it.

i just get a sponge moist and press it so it gets a little wet, and then i wipe a little. then i press on it with a paper towel to soak it up and pick the dirt out.

i use compressed air just by a can of it and spray it on your deck and it blows most of it away. Or you could breathe it in and get high nitrous nice

use sand paper or another sheet of griptape and rub it on the dirt spots and they usually come out

I don't worry about things on my griptpe anymore. But when I did i used a toothbrush and water and it got most of the stuff off. But really, don't worry about it. The board will break anyways.

what works for me is a lil bit of water on an old tooth brush it brushes the dirt right off just make sure not to use the toothbrush again

You can buy one of those erasers - simular, but probably better than what ccs sells - at a sanding belt shop anywhere (Porter Cable [where I got mine]...etc..).
They are about 1 1/2" Sq. and 8" long and last forever. Made for cleaning power sanding belts.
Cost is around $4-$5. I even use it when it is just dusty. Just a few quick rubs along the length and tape is like new.
Every skater should carry one of these in their stash......especially since too many carry around useless candle sticks.

^ Does that work for mud and melted on wax and stuff that doesn't rub off? Cuz I know that Meager Grip Gum sucks at getting anything off except for dust and light dirt.

You have to let the mud dry. Once it is dry, it will remove the dirt with a few rubs. I don't know about melted wax.....or why it would even be on someones tape. I have this EXACT stick:

You can buy these sanding belt rubber cleaners at any good belt sander retailer in any town for cheap. They work.
The stuff made specifically for skating is the same stuff only you get a smaller amount.

I would keep it on if I were you. Every piece of dirt is like a story of where you've been
Like right now I have so much stuff on my griptape.
1.Dog crap (from 6 months ago)
2. Crayons (from my little brother)
3. Tea stains
4. Soda stains
5. Dirt
6. Blood stains
7. Burn marks
8. Paint
9. Wax

if you can get it a little damp, then shake some comet on it and scrub it in with a tire cleaning brush, then wipe it off with a clean, damp sponge or somethin, itll look brand new when it dries.

If he spat on it i wouldve beat the crap out of em. Some jerk came to my neighborhood for my neighbor he was havin a random party. Well... it rained that day and he drives a pick up truck so the back was full of water. He steals my board throws it in the back and starts cuppin water in his hands and pourin it on my grip.
YA buddy if your on here hear me out your an asshole and no one likes you!
