how do you make a good lip

i'm building some jumps at the moment and i need to know the best way to make a good lip for my jump.

you can either put comping on it or just some steel

yeah coping so u hit and ramp up for more height

what you can do is make the wood ur gonna use for the sides a liul longer so you can nail a 2x4 on the top level with the top of the ramp so you have a nice flat lip
