im thinking of getting a pedal for my guitar, i want a wah, but im not sure, crap i just broke a string on my guitar :mad:, wut whoud i get im ur oppinion?

you can have a wah-wah bar AND a pedal on ur guitar. i have a wah bar, im getting a pedal soon and my Distortion F-ing rocks!

There's a difference between a 'wah wah bar' and a wah pedal.

1) Whammy bar is the term. It 'bends' your tone, as you might know.

2) A wah pedal, gives you the nice 'wah wah wah' sound..it's powered, so you can have more of a flexible sound.

They make Volume pedals mixed with Wah pedals, with switches built in. I don't like them, since I've been doing some performing live lately..and I sometimes need a wah pedal AND a volume pedal...no time to switch. Rogue makes a $30 volume pedal, if you'd like a cheap one.
