:-24: hey i started drumming 2 days ago and had my first lesson tuesday...but the homework beats i was given (4 beat and waltz) are too easy, so if n e 1 has any BEGGINER beats that are a bit harder than those 2 let me know:-24:

i wouldnt know how to describe a drum beat in wordz. i would have to show you in person. Maybe one day i'll teach you how to play some Blink and System beats! ive been playin for about...5-6 months. :D

oh oh ok, i think i see wut you're saying....ok um...lets see if i can word this....do 8th notes on the high hat, bass drum comes on beats 1 & 3, snare comes on 2 & 4. (no symbol). 4/4 time. hold the pedal on the high hat down of course.

i think thats how the beat goes....i have to go play it and check it out, but i cant cuz my set is at my other house. But yeah, its an easy beat, real good to start with.

then you can add some more stuff onto it, like tweak it out a bit.

um go to a tab website.... srry fo the spam..... such as mxtabs.net/drums, they have good stuff i cant real do drum tabs... theyre to confusing for me, i just figure it out by ear, its easier.... um... beats are fun.. i dont know the names of any, i didnt take lessons..... so yah, not much help from me but i tried...

CircaSk8terBabe, play the 4 beat u know high hat+bass,high hat n snare..but once u do it twice hit the high hat 4 times and start over, sounds well good thanx for the help yall..robiskewl thanx for the site!!

Fairly fast - listen to song- it helps with the rythm

mental bit? what mental bit of stay 2gether for the kids??? you mean the part where hedoes crash the whole time instead of hi-hat?... its not that hard al you hafta do is quarter notes on the crash and inbetween two of em hit the snare ad inbetween that hit the bass, just once(no double), and then hit the snare twice, then high-tom 4 times, thensnare twice, hi-tom 2 and then floor tom 2 .... fast kinda, it sounds cool when you get it going good... that so took me a few dys to learn cuz i was doing it unco-ordinated,(wrong hands) si yeah but its pretty cool song with a cool rithym.... i dont really like the blink stuff but travis is an awesome drummer.... you can get the tabs off that site i posted earlier, its not that hard...
