Ummm I've lost track, since I was about 7 and now I'm 20.... a couple seasons (like this last one) I got to go out like once so those don't really count :(
I find myself getting bored with it now though because all the mountains around here are small as hell and boring. I want to ride big moutains, powder and backcountry but that won't happen for another 2 years at least. I guess I just have to tough it out and try to enjoy riding in crappy eastern Ontario. :p

Hey ramprage, don't you go to Blue Mountain? That park is amazing. I go to Jay Peak, Vermont on my march break and im always amazed with the powder they get. The drive is not too long as well. 8-10 hours I think.

I've been boarding for like 8 years now, and I've been jumping and doing rails for 2 years now. It's nice here in quebec since we've got a lot of mountains, and we've got 2 REALLY good ones, Mt. Tremblant and Stoneham....those rule.....oh and last spring break I was in the alps doing some backcountry boarding in powder (hehe rr)...and next year I'm supposed to go to whistler/blackcomb BC.

Yeah I've been to Jay Peak once, do they still take Canadian money at Par? When I went it was cold and windy as hell so there wasn't much powder to be found but I'd like to go back.
I've been to Tremblant but I only downhill mtn. biked it! Now that was a rush :D
I haven't been to Blue Mountain, I think it's fairly close to where I am though. I want to check it out this winter for sure.

I want to go to actual mountains for snowboarding once...we have this thing here called buck hill but it SUCKS!...it's only like...10 minutes from my house but everythings really icky..and by like february everythings pure ice....AND THE SKI PATROL is a bunch of dumbasses who don't know how to do their job! UGH! and little boy skiiers always run over my snowboard because they don't know how to stay off runs specially designed for snowbaorders...and their isn't enough room for people up their so we're all jam packed...ugh sorry i just remembered all of that and how much i hate it up their....but i love snowboarding...

Yeah snowboarding with other people can be a real pain in the @$$ sometimes. Have you ever tried going behind a ski-doo (snowmobile)? We do that all the time and build our own jumps, it's great! Just make sure the rope isn't to short, I'd say a good length is around 15 feet.

I tried it once....wasn't that fun since the jump was only a little sh*t....and you go too fast and can't concentrate on doing some real stuff.......And yeah....they still take canadian money at jay peak...and it's nice cuz if it costs let's say 30USD for a day....well it'll cost 30 canadian dollars too.....so you save like 15 bucks....Jay peak's not that good though....fresh powder is pretty rare.
