Free movie editing software

[STR8 RIPPIN']

At the moment i am working on my first video and i am using windows movie maker witch is about as basic as it gets. i would like to get better editing software so was wondering if anybody knows where i can download some free software that isnt a trial thats only gonna last me a few days.

WMM does the job, unless you want fancy slow-mo and stuff. Personally I use Ulead VS, it's not much more advanced that WMM but it is certainly better. My version came with a £20 Capture Card, so I amagine its fairly cheap.

um download vegas 5 by sony for starters becuase adobe is my favorite but it is very complicated so start with windows maker and then get vegas. its good stuff.

According to Freaky Style(the veteran movie maker round these parts) he says that Vegas 4 is just as good in his tutorial on it. You could probably pic it up at a computer fair or market for about £20.

i just use imagemixer, it is a program that came with my digital camera, which i use to shoot all my skate vids on...its simple, the only negative things are u cant put it into slowmotion, no titles (i just make my own using MS paint, im creative like that :-3: ) but other than that u can still edit ur movies, dub in music, etc etc..i think its free off the website...

You can find whatever you want if you put your mind to it. I mean just about any program you could want. As Josh said, we can't tell how though so <_>

I use Ulead Videostudio 7.0, a great amateur video editing software, great for skate vids.
