I ripped this kid off!

ok so i was at the park the other day and i was skatin. I was just about to leave when this kid comes up to me and asks me if i have 20 bucks. I say no because i figure hes gonna jump me or try to sell me dope. Anyways he says "oh, well im trying to sell my skateboard cuz i need the money." Then i was like well let me see it and ill try to get 20 bucks. So when he shows me it it was a shortys muska deck. i was like "cool 20 bucks!" and he says yup. Then i was like well when are you gonna take the trucks and wheels off? and hes looks at me like im crazy and says 20 for everything. So i find somebody with 20 bucks and i buy it off of him. Later when i get home i start looking it over and i notice that the deck has a name engraved into it. The name was billy or something like that and the kid that sold it to me was named john. I was thinking HOLY SHIT this setup is probobly stolen! So i figure its best to get rid of most of it but i needed new trucks so i switched my Tensors for the Ventures on the stolen board. I sold my old trucks for 20 bucks to my friend. then i traded the deck for 10 plus a blank in mint condition. And i sold the Spitfire wheels and movement bearings for 20 dollars. Basically i made out with 30 bucks plus new trucks and a new deck. :D :D :D :D :D

Something like that happened to me and my friends once. This guy was skating and his board hit a car when it slipped ou from under him so he ran and threw his board in the bushes so we go get the board, one of my friends suggest keeping it but me and my other friend say find the guy and give it back. Not even 10 minutes later we find him and he asks us to tell his friend still skating over there to get his keys. We come back and he offers us a soda. We say no thanks and leave...


Moral of the story is....if you see a board take it if you want the few dollars or extra partsfor your own benefit.

Or give it back to the guy if you dont want him to not be able to skate for a few days, and be depressed about his board and having to scapre up the money for a new one.

this reminds me... i had a board stolen last year. a flip with royals, rictas, and super swiss 6s... anyways, i was pretty bummed cuz the board was pretty new. and the bearings were $40. so, fast forward a couple months and one of my friends has it! He says that some kid left it outside his house so my friend being the good, law-abiding citizen that he is, stole it. yeah, by this time, i had already replaced the stolen board so I let him have the flip but i took back my royals and the super swiss 6s. I later gave the wheels away to another friend... yeah. crazy shit happens to skaters.
