I remember when a boardslide was called a "Rail Slide" It was a rail slide because of the rails that were screwed to the bottom of the board.
Course we also had nose guards and tail guards and cops weren't chasing us all the time.
FIGHT!

I have been thinking about putting rails on my deck for a while now... I mean, why not? They wiegh nothing are good for airs (grabs) and you can slide ANYTHING! only thing that sucks id drilling out the holes...

Any good skate site has rails. Try www.milehighskates.com they have a big selection. I use them on all my "trick" boards. Slide anything! Don't get as many nasty scratches either.

Most skateshops have some in the counter, tucked away in the corner collecting dust.

Not the noise or tail of course, though could these also help the board from snapping?

I dought it, drilling holes in a regular baord (8' and under) would probably weaken it somewhat.

Any chance to glue them, like with an epoxy?

Nah. It's easier just to drill the holes. If you have a dremel it takes 5 minutes to get both rails on.
