If I bought an "old school" or freestyle deck, which end would I use for pogos, the flat or the kick?

Which ever one is easier...? Seems like you could get a good grip either way.

I think maybe the kick should be on the bottom so that it isn't all over your leg.

Freestyle decks aren't the same as oldschool decks, those tomb stone style boards are for transition skating.

I'm guessing the flat end is used for pogos so the other end doesn't flatten?
