building a halfpipe in my room

i have an 8 foot ceiling and cant really build above 2ft 8" to 3 ft high i need to know about how long and wide i need to build the ramp to get good use out of it

im thinking.. build it as wide as your room, but leave room for the door. then have one of the decks be like 5 feet wide so you can be up on it and stuff.. like have a mattress up there. then you can mount your tv if you have one on the wall or something and put your drawers or whatever in the ramp. like this.

juts get some plans for how the curve works, and then make it like the width of your room - 2 feet or something to walk by..... yeah.

thats just an idea, because i dont know your rooms dimensions or where the door is.

if you had a taller ceiling it would be way better. you can still do it fine with 8', but you cant really be that tall since the pipe would be at least 2 and a half feet. actually, id hit my head on the ceiling because im 5'10.

OHHHH. cut up your floor, chisel out the foundation, and just lower the ramp into the ground so the decks of it are flush with the normal floor. holy lord that would be awesome. actually make them like 2 inches lower than the floor, so you can get some big super strong floor panels to go over it. and like.. have and edge 2 inches lower all around the pit that the ends of the panels can rest on, like this

omg. that room would kill. heres the plan. make a ledge at the side of the mini thats joint on to the deck. on theht ledge will be the bed and under will be your drawers etc
if you have seen flip - sorry, in ali boulalas part he ollies off a ledge onyo the flat bottom of a mini. you could have the ledge as your bed and under have drawers etc.

what if your room was in the loft? that would be pretty cool because you could get on of those moveable ceilings and then when you were skating on a sunny day you could remove it. you could soundproof the room and have all night seshes.

U have the half pipe sunk in and then u have like big barn doors or sumthin that cover it when your not skating so its just like the floors is over it. In fact just wait till your parents are gone for a week n build it and there never know.

i used to have bank ramps on my porch, in my living room. grind rails quarter pipes wall rides and mannual pads in the back i had like a mini skate park in the house but i gave it away now im working on a new concrette park in the back yard rails, half pipe, manual pads, euro gaps and banks oh yeah and fire pit :-41: top that :-5:

Im sorry to say tat an 8 foot cieling is too low dude. If the ramp is 3 ft tall, you can only be 5ft or so....... Also, if your doing lip tricks, your gonna get a bit of air above the coping. I would do it in the garage or backyard under a tent.
