I can't even get it to rotate. How do you ollie and rotate?Oh and yes I've looked at many tips on how to do this but whenever I try to rotate my board doesn't turn with me.

well man u gotta time it so u n the board rotate at the same speed
4 a 180 u should try 2 ollie as high as u can 90 degrees then ur backfoot shud push from behind n finish the 180
if your feet is coming off the board that means ur jumping 2 high and not popping the tail hard enough so pop that tail as hard as u can n make sure not 2 jump 2 high but dont jump 2 low either

concentrate more on turning. Use your arms to help you spin round once youve ollied 90 degrees

Works for me

With fs 180's what I do is have my front foot really close to the front of the board with my toes hanging off and have my back foot normal like an ollie. You kind of wind yourself up and start to unwind just before you ollie. Ollie, and continue to unwind, when you are at about 90 degrees shove your back foot and your body around the rest of the way. Good Luck :)

dont worry about your ollie, focus on getting the right spin down....i dont have a normal 180 stance tho, what helps me is to get into a stance as if you were gonna do a kickflip, only i push diagnal up the baord...so it spins....its ****ed up, but hey it works!....also...when i do this, i dont have to worry as much about winding up my body before i jump, it gets the spin on its own.

How high should you be able to ollie before you try a 180?

You only have to be able to ollie a few inches. It is control that matters you should be comfortable with your ollie. Try 180's moving. For some reason momentum helped me get the other 90 of my 180.
