I noticed that when i am editing my movies on the pc the quality is pretty crap even though i transferd the video from my camera to the pc at the highest quality. It is just really pixelated and jolty. I was just wondering if when i burn my video to a DVD would it stay the smae quality or does it get better?

Movie maker eh?

When you click on "Save movie file" i know that if you click "my computer" from the menu after that you get to name the file and where its saved. Then you get the quality save options. Choose "other settings" and choose "high quality video (PAL)". I think that will keep the original quality.

Btw when you preview your movie the quality may seem worse but it actually isn't. Its because its being streamed off the computer(me thinks).

Yeah, when the video is rendering the quality will seem worse than it is. There are many things to do to enhance the quality, but first I would want to know are you working with minidv or a photo cam that takes those ridiculously ridiculous videos?

Oh yea, i can't believe i forgot this :D. Make sure your using a firewire port to transfere the video! If you use usb(/2) it will loose quility!
