The excellent alternative to fisheyes. Much better, makes things look absolutely goddamn huge. ANyone around here use these?

The only thing excellent about wide-angle in comparison to fisheye for skating is the price.

I've borrowed one whilst skatin at the local parks. Well i think it was. Gave a bigger viewing area than fisheye.

I'm yet to try a wide angle lense, I love my fisheye too much....

Do you mean they are a lot cheaper? I thought they were around the same price, we have one of each lense and the wide angle just seems a lot better.

yeah i got one. sony wide conversion lense that cost me £45.

i have a friend with an analog camera and hes tring to find a fisheye for his camera and i couldn't help him so i thougt maybe this could help he has a panasonic pv-L354D any sugestions?

are you all insane? wide angles are nothing compared to a fisheye. a fisheye is supposed to view 180* but the largest fisheye only yeilds 170* now tell me how could a wide angle yeild larger then 170*? it doesnt i have a wide angle and its says .3x which is wrong considering the only lens that is truely .3x is a mk 1 for a vx1000s from century. now please get your info straight before you start making people think youre correct on your knowledge.
