Putting footy from a Mini DV tape to my PC.

Can someone help me with taking all of the footy off of my mini DV tape and putting it onto my computer, I already have the software installed.

you need a few things first; (assuming your mini dv camera has a dv terminal)
firewire lead
firewire port on your computer.

If you don't have a firewire port on your comp go into a computer shop and ask for a firewire pci card. Stick it into your comp and link it up.

This is a pretty old thread, I already got a firewire and have already put alot of footy on the comp.
