how many people enter contests? and if so how many have you won? and i know some contests give out money so did u win any?

ive entered 3 and won one but the one i won was a charity type thing

i have never entered a contest i never felt that i was good enough to compete with really talented skaters so maybe in a few years i will give it a go!

I've never entered one but i've been to one and the people who win like get new boards, t-shirts and stickers stuff like that

umm i was the oldest in my age group but it was still competitive.... some young guns put up a fight!!! ya the companies donate boards but since it was for a charity they auctioned them off and gave the charity money

Ya well I entered a contest...I think you still can see some pics in the "big air competition" thread in the gallery....It was my 1st competition...I finished 5th (1st 2nd 3rd and 4th got a price :(). It was the biggest big air I've ever seen...it was REALLY huge, about 45 vertical feet from the top of the lip to the bottom of the landing, and you had to land in the 3/4 of the landing to land well....so that's a big drop. I did a Mute grab on the 1st try, and a 360 Tailgrab on the second one, but didn't land correctly. The bad thing is that next year, I go up 1 age category, so I'll be competing with no-brain suicidal stoned young adults that throw 900 corcks on the same jump. Actually....just before the competition, there was a freestyle flatland snowboard competition (with presses 'n spins and all)....and a guy did a frontflip while moving WITHOUT ANY JUMPS!!!!!. And after the competition there was a freestyle skiing demo with like 13 canadian guys who do the world cups in freestyle skiing each year so they were REAL good...they did a 13 men double backflip shotgun on the same jump!!!
