anyone else ride banana shaped boards? you know, dogtown style boards, short and thin with rollerskate trucks, i have one from landyachtz and im gonna start cuttin my own out of regular decks, they are so responsive and snappy, they handle great, but you do wobble more, especially at higher speeds, so you gotta be a good experienced rider or just crazy to bomb hills or even just ride it good, but trust me, you will learn alot by ridin one for a while, and youll be a better skate because of it. if you cant find or afford one, make one, the one i bought from landyachtz is cut from regular decks, its 7 ply and it has the exact same wheel base and truck pattern as a regular deck.

My son and I were riding some vintage boards like that this weekend and they're a trip. This one "Bonzai" turned so sharp you could almost do a U-turn on the sidewalk. A total blast.

I know a lot of builders that make them custom. The Landy Dingy is pretty cool too. I saw a video of some guys ripping on it in a skatepark. I will probly get one for $10 on eBay soon. My friend has an old Makaha. It's injection molded though so it's not as cool as it could be.

It's a lot of fun to make a bannana board, except you have to buy trucks and wheels.. I ride them a lot

Dude, I worship you. Not only are you awesome and kind, but you are really supportive of your kids skating. My dad went nuts because I killed my knee today, while facing the worlds most messed up face plant.
