I need help I have a video that is in avi. Format and it says it has a problem so I need a software that will transform an avi. movie into a mgpe or mpg movie... My friend has a program that can do that but his computer is an imax ( machinstosh) so Is there any program that can do that for windows??

you mean .avi not avi. right? (the period matters).

just about any editing program can use .avi's and convert them to .mpg or .mov and so forth. i'd suggest videowave cause thats what i started w/.

no psyco dont, use Virtualdub.
It's a tiny program but its gud and its free. search for it you'll find it.
After you got that download LSX MPEG Encoder off kazaa cos you can import ya .avi into that, and record clips from ya .avi into .mpg's .
Then u cn change ya clips in2 .avi's.
Ok i dont think that made sense.

u neva had audio cos of ya speker? or was it the programs fault?
U can choose to use audio or not, u just have 2 find it.

umm never had audio cause of the program ... it said it couldn't support it i mean i tried .avi .mpg or wht ever and note it didn't work

you might need to convert whatever audio you have into .wav, not .mp3, some programs dont support mp3 formats.

Get MusicMatch jukebox you can copy files to any birate and whatever format, (AUDIO!!) i changed a few bits of music in .Wav files yesterday to edit them.. . www.musicmatchjukebox.com
