I was thinking about getting that for skating from spot to spot, cruising and just use it when I get bored of shortboarding.
Is that a good "setup" and stuff, or should I use other parts for it.
I'll mainly be using it just to mess around with it.

Yeah it would be good to mess around with but not to cruise long distances or anything. It comes with really nice stuff. My mini board is set up similarly to that and it's great. I would say do it. Landyachtz makes good stuff.

hi anybody have any idea on how one like this rides? Like how fast stable etc. http://landyachtz.com/D25.cfm?PID=61
Or this one which is better? http://landyachtz.com/D25.cfm?PID=132

Well basically only the wheels make a difference in how fast it is. That is a big heavy board (BIG) that is only really for boardwalking and a little riding around. Probly wouldn't be the best cruiser because of how heavy and big it is.
As for the second link. I own that board. It rules for bombing. I have hit 50mph on it fine. If you want a board you can ride around town as well I would get it with Randal R-II trucks. It is still REALLY stable with them. Great board. The Evo is a little better though because it can turn more and is actually more stable.
For other cool speedboards and stuff you might want to check out www.raynelongboards.com and www.kebbek.com

^Good board that can do downhill, plus it would make a good cruising and carving board.

^Basically just a bombing board. Good stuff.
Basically all of Kebbek's boards are pretty good too.

Carving is when you whittle something out of wood with a knife, or you make like a custom wooden picture frame with designs on it. Let's not forget carving the turkey.
