Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me to find a longboard. This would be my first one. Im looking for one with:

Some concave

It has to be able to handle sharp turns and carve well, not so much fast speeds

34-42 inches

Middle to High Flex

Good wood that wont break

No/little wheel bite

And maybe Randal R-2's ( if you know any better trucks for carving list them please )

Thats pretty much all i am looking for and hopefully it will cost under $150.
I've heard Alva boards and the Loaded Vanguard are similar to my description, comment on those too please. Well thats it and thanks for helping.

Alright. You are going to want Original trucks because they carve WAY tighter then Randals. Not so good at speed though but based on what you want it seems fitting. If you have Aim or any instant message programs please talk to me I can give you a lot of information.

Looks like this board would be perfect for you

Ohhh when I recommended some before I was recommending most grip. Believe me these trucks turn so tight you would need pretty much all the grip you can get...unless you dont mind sliding. The stock wheels should be fine for beginning. If you want to upgrade ABEC 11 Flashbacks might do the trick. Lots of grip yet smooth predictable slides.

I think I've decided on the Torpedo 40 complete, but i think im going to go ahead and get the ABEC 11 flashbacks also. Thanks for the help.
