he said lay the wood down on the bricks. I did that but whenever I hit the beggining of the ramp my front wheels hit the ledge of the wood. like its not a smooth roll on I thump off the wood when I start that or it hits the front of the jump and I go flying off

try sanding or making a small cut so that it lies flat on the ground

Sanding would take way too long. Buy a piece of sheet metal about 8 inches wide and as wide as the ramp and drill two holes, one on each of the two top corners. Screw the metal onto the ramp making a smooth transition. The metal should be about 1/16 inch thick. I did this on my 4 foot quaterpipe and it works great. I bought my metal from some fabrication company for 20 dollars.

try getting a thinner board then putting a brick under it so it wont break.

i put the wood on some bricks and then jam the edge up aganst one of the joins in the concrete.
