Isn't it overrated? For some reason, it's almost always at the top of a list, like best guitar solo or best song ever. Is it just me? Most of the song is just elevator music. I'm not trying to be an attention whore or anything, I'd just like to know what other people think of it. I've read another persons view on it, who also explained American Pie and Hotel California, right here: http://www.straightdope.com/columns/030425.html, but it didn't satisfy me. I don't think it's even the best song from Led Zeppelin, or even the album it was released on.

its a great song. Irs played alot and many people dont even no who sings it whicj really pisses me off. It is [B]not [/B zeppelins best, but it is still nonetheless a masterpiece.

Good song just way to overplayed. It was one of there better ones but On Zoso (LZ4) they had some WAY better songs. Hotel California was another. The solo was actualy rether well put together and so is the last part but the beginning puts me to sleep.
