I'm having troubles with my ollies and some badic tricks. Honestly I am either not really a skateboarder or A inp but I am jut scared of fallin and I 'm not quick enough. By the way sadety gear wont re assure me! I am havin troubles olliein while moving! From there on I need a few basic tricks to impress peeps. If youthink you're a good enough skater then gimme your advice. And please reply a.s.a.p! Thanks for reading

first of all don't worry about impressing ppl, that's the first mistake in skateboarding. Second, you have to commit to it, you have to set the fear aside for a minute and just concentrate on nothing but the trick. Then on the ollie if you just jump when you pop the tail on the board down your foot will automatically drag up and you should be able to land it.

i forgot who it was, but in a trick tips video, some one said that "if you don't fall, you're not doing it right." when you fall, that means you're takin' chances, and getting better. when you fall, too, you get less afraid of falling.

yeah falling down is the worst that can happen after breaking a bone but if you don't get your fear like you are gonna suck...

when u try to ollie moving, make ur bearings really tight. that way when u land, ur board wont fly out from under u.

like 'the turtle' said if ure afraid of bailing on a trick... then you wont land it.... but if u thnk 'YEAH IM GONNA DO THIS DAMN TRICK' then you will have a good chance of landing it

ok you gotta already know how 2 ollie, coz u probably read them boring lectures with the step by step guides, the advice i can give you for an ollie might not help but give it a go

1-if you havent tried already ride goofy as you might not be regular

2-nail the kicktail, when u ollie your gonna have to smack the tail down real hard and jump as high as you can

3-dont think about sliding your foot, it does i naturally

4-dont think or even give a shoddy sh'te about falling or gettin a injury!

If you want to be a wimp then go ahead but that won't get you anywhere dude just go for it!, man everyone used to have trouble ollieing whilst moving when they first started so you weren't/arn't the only one who has had the same problem,

The best thing to do is to push you OVER your limit. Force yourself to do it. It might help if before you're guna try and make yourself land it, you scream and start yellin shoutin at thin air to best your adrenalin goin. Bam does that on CKY2K near the end before he does the front flip onto the sand off the crane.
Also make yourself that its guna be the end of the world or summat if u dont land it or the ppl around u wont like u if u dont land it.
Dont be scared of snapin your deck either or hurtin yaself (i luv dat lol) cos that just shows you're gettin betta.
