Exact same thing happened to me twice this week, on a kickflip and an ollie. I just figured the lifespan had ran out, since I bought them used a long time ago and they pretty much broke around the same time for no reason.

Thats going to be a pain in the ass to fix. All my friends that have had thunders and broke a kingpin on them they couldnt fix them. Thunders seem to have weak kingpins. May I suggest krux as your next trucks?

Go to home depot and buy some GRADE 8 bolts that are the same size as your kingpins. I guarantee you will never break one.
