Ever been Discouraged by skate Vids?

Me and some freinds watched some skate vids before going out to skate and we accidentally watched a video of the greatest whipe outs. After seeing all that we were all afraid to do anything none of us wanted to whipe out. I can barely do jack shit nwo cuz Im scared shitless to fall.....

the thing with skateboarding is, you have to make falling half the fun
the only thing discouraging about skate videos to me would be the crazy progression of the young guys, but i stopped really caring about progression of my own
skating just to skate, skating just to be with friends, skating just to get hurt and excercise

It might not hurt for you, but some people dont get off so easy, THEY BREAK BONES.

I thinks those are ways to show you you should be careful, but not a coward. If your not careful your going to winde up in a hospital very quickly, but if ur a coward your not going to progress in skating.

accidentally? have you ever looked at the front of a VCR or DVD player? theres << rewind > play # stop >> fast forward now the # stop button makes the video you're watching turn black or go back to the dvd player screen. so it's your fault. but no i dont get discouraged i just wanna try harder.

This sounds weird but sometimes I like falling if I'm doing an ollie and I mess up if I land on my arm or something it doesn't hurt that much but it's not always so bad.

I'm just posting this to get my post count up but I generally don't watch falls because it does the same to me. The skaters who progress and get better are the ones who aren't scared of falling. Learn how to fall properly and quit being a little chickenspit.

Those words encouraged me man really they did!To go along with that i dont have a big head like most of the kids out there who all dream of turning pro for Baker or Flip i skate to have fun and get out of the fricken house.I love skating so so much.
