Amazing Grip

My dads freind works at a Glove factory and they make all sorts of rubber Gloves and mitts etc...so I saw them making those gloves that you hold fish with there really spiky and chuky rubber on the palms to grasp fish. So the guy told me if I pay him 20$he'll rubber blast my deck.. So I tookt he old grip tape off and he blasted the top of my deck with liquid hot rubber. We let it hang upside down as it dried so that the rubber would drip and dry. WE then cut off some of the long strands of dry rubber.....now my decks top part has cuncks of rubber for grip.... Its SOOO amazing I can stick o it like glue, makes my ollies insane high(well I think there high)

Hehe sounds sick for ollies and such! I dont think it would work too well with fliptricks though :D.

I've thought of that before, but no way of ever actually doing it. Rubber grip wouldnt destroy your shoes.

i dont think it would destroy your shoes as bad as griptape, i mean rubber vs sandpaper (thats all griptape is)

All this is sounding too good to be true. There must be some flaw.

too much grip can be a bad thing. your ollies might be alright but everything else maybe screwed up. too much grip and your foot wont want to slide and it throws the board in front of your. also your flip tricks like a kickflip may end up just throwing the nose into the ground and have of credit carding you and chipping your nose. plus this rubber costs $20 instead of $5 so i would be paying an extra $15 for a deck that isn't going to last me more than a month.

yup it does screw up the kick flips but, hey this was on one of my older experiment boards so didnt bug me a whole lot. But my ollies are Hella good on it. It would be cool if they made boards liek that for begginners to get there ollies down eh?

not really...cuz then they might get used to not having to slide there foot up as much or w/e and they wont be able to ollie wit grip tape
