If so can you list some songs by them that have the same symphonic feel to them as "tongue of fire" and "the prophet"

Oh, I don't know man. I was kind of joking about that. Be prepared to hear something you've never experienced before.
but if you're up to the challenge, listen to pieces of songs here:

GOD SPEED FREAKIN ROCKS! I need more songs by them to download.. Any suggestions? I already got Sad Mafiaso, Glass Museum, and East hastings.

Sad Mafioso is actually only one movement of a song, if I remember correctly.
And Glass Museum is actually a song by Tortoise, who are great (You probably got a mislabeled file on limewire, or got it somewhere else from someone who did)
I recommend 'Providence', 'Blaise Bailey Finnegan III', and 'Sleep', though you might as well download all the albums.
And yes, I'm definitely a Mogwai fan. Their new album, Mr. Beast, Comes out early next year

I don't think it's really possible to say one is better than the other. They are far enough apart stylistically where comparing them like that isn't really possible.
alot of people im friends with sit at home listen to music and find new bands everyday for hours on end. Yeah, I'm that guy.

I listen to a little bit of Emperor. Mostly a few tracks from Wrath of the Tyrants or In the Nightside Eclipse, anything else kind of bores me.
You might want to check out Dub Buk, Nokturnal Mortum, Sacramentum, and Dissection.
