What to do in the winter?

Ahh! Winter's coming!
What do you guys do in the winter? The snow's starting to fly, and there's no indoor parks around here... I'm not really much of a snowboarder... Any suggestions?

First, I'm going to get two of my friends help me build a hill of snow in my backyard, maybe with a ramp at the end. Then I'm going to get an old crappy deck and use it to snowskate. It's going to kick ass if we work hard enough.

im in australia, so its coming up to summer, and it only ever snows in winter where i am once every 5 or so years so i dont really have a problem with that...
if it snows enough and you have a hill near you you could make a huge trench and luge down it on one of ur old decks...???

Lol, exact same thing happened here... snowed 2 days ago, sun came out and melted it all away. Personally, I was happy, gave me more time to skate, and more time to try and figure out what to do when the snow stays... but I'm sure you weren't too thrilled about it.

I skate. All the salt ad stuff they put on the roads and in parking lots makes everything dry. At the fire hall it will be salted and there is a 5 set and two four sets right in the area too. Also there is park skating aboiut 30 min away. If i don't skate I'll prolly play video games, eat, and make love.

Well I ordered a snow skate a couple of days ago, so im gunna do that. And to whever said if you can only do tricks stationary on a snowskate without hills.. Thats totally wrong. My buddy has a snow skate, you just put it down, and run at it, hop on it, and you will start moving for around 15 seconds. so you can put it in front of stairs and whatnot.. You need a hill if you want to constantly move and not stop. But you can do tons of stuff moving WITHOUT hills.

Well... there's about 8 inches of snow here now... and I tried using my old skate deck as a snowskate, but it goes so deep under the snow that it doesn't really work at all... no hills or anything around here. I'm at a loss.
