You pop less and move your back foot back farther.

Don't pop alot, and find how hard you need to kick your foot for the 360. Just, flick, and jump forward as far as you can... if it's fs.

barely even pop for these. its almost like the board spins on the ground its just a real quick flick. watch rodney mullen he does 360 shuvs alot.

You would jump backward for f/s, and forward for b/s man.

yea try them not popping at all first, cuz it is kinda hard to get the rotation at first. But really you don't need to ask this you can just try it and see what happens.

ok first of all, are you sure you have a good pop shuv-it? because if you can only do a shuv-it where it basically powerslides quickly around on the ground you probably won't be able to get these just because it will be alot harder for it to get the full rotation if it doesn't get any air time. then for the pop you want it harder than a pop shove-it and you want to try to visualize you kicking your back foot in a diagonal direction towards your back and the nose of the board, so basically if you look over your lead shoulder thats the direction you kinda want to kick the tail. this direction will give the board the spin for it and also keep the board under you. pop the tail in the diagonal direction and also down to smack the tail (the tail hitting the ground will give the shove-it lift or "pop"). chill there for a sec in mid-air and wait for the board to come around and stomp it down. land and ride away style. also if you can do 360 flips then the pop for the back foot is pretty much the same as the 360 shove it, just dont flick your front foot (and maybe have your toes of your back foot a little more on the tail instead of hanging off a little because it might flip it slightly). if this and alot of practice doesn't help then come back and be a little more specific with your problem.
do that and practice
WTF??

Just spin more.
Yes, pop less. I can spin around on the ground abit if you dont' get it the whole rotation fully.

put your back foot more in the center of the tail, move it more towards the direction of your heel.

Well the hardest part to learning Shuvits and Pop Shuvs is that your not used to the board spinning under you. Ofcourse, a regular 180 Pop Shuv is really easy, its just that extra 180 that you need for a 360. So all you need is alot of practice and do not be afraid to scratch up your ankles and also falling.

sry no this thread is a little dead but what's the diffrence between flick and scoop
edward

usually flick is with the front foot like the flick of a kickflip but i dont' really know what element skate is talking about. i scoop for shuv its and 360 shuvits. just with 360 shuvs you scoop your foot a little more and don't pop downward as much. scooping is like sweeping your back foot around kinda like making your foot do sort of a 1/4 of a circle, so that it kicks the tail of the board towards the direction of your back and also towards the nose of the board (this makes it stay with you instead of flying behind you in the opposite way that your moving.) go here and watch the tre flip video and just watch the back foot, thats how you want to pop it, the only difference between tres and 360 shuvs is the flicking of the front foot whereas with 360 shuvs you just kinda take your front foot off and let it chilll there until the board finishes rotating. watch that and watch other tre flips in slow mo and try to pop the back foot like that, thats the scooping motion you need to do it.
