Take out the primo thing that's a really easy trick. Also do some grinds/slides more gaps/sets and he doesn't neccesarily have to learn more tricks but tell him to fix his style he always has to kickturn after finishing every move. But um sorry if I sound harsh good luck.

honestly.....thats not sponcerable. What you should do is compare yourself to the other skaters sponcerd by your local shop and see what you have to keep up with. Also remember that it isn't just having the tricks. It's also about style etc. and i dont mean to sound offish but if it is a sponcer video for Kevin (whatever last name is) then it is pretty obvious that he is the one staring in it.
apart from that it was pretty good

Sponsers hate sponser me tapes.
And you're not there yet. Getting closer.
Want a sponser? Dn't show them a vid, show them in person.

Sponsers don't hate sponsor tapes, they do them because they don't have time to see every skater in person. Anyways, I was reading you site smile! or w.e interesting stuff.

I sent in a video to mainland skate and surf, its better than this, but your's will be better if you throw in a skatepark, ramps, grinds, also, take out the lame primo thing. That video must be 2 mins so, only get the kickflip over the gap, the other ones are not impressive to the sponsors.

As stated before, he does have talent.
But as he's so young, he definately needs more time to progress before thinking of starting a sponsor-me video.
He's got all the basic tricks down, but you have to understand that sponsors are looking for style, opposed to the actual tricks.
Like I said, he's young. Let himself progress into Nollie, and some Switch.
With that much talent at 11 years, he's definately got potential.. but don't rush it.

he not good enough but hes got potential

yea, hes very talented for his age. i wish i could have started skating that young. i started when i was 12 and im now 13. about 11 months. i guess things come to others easier than others. i just learned f/s flips, and fakie f/s flips, and im so stoked right now because they weren't even that difficult to learn i just had to put my mind to it and once you get the spinning withthe flicking, it comes pretty easy. yea its off the subject i know. i thought id just tell all of you for no reason. anyways, back to the main stream. i think that some switch and nollie tricks, with a little more style and some better spots, he could be sponsered by the age of 12 or 13.

FYI- Twisted Transistor video parts
Jon (vocals/bagpipes) played by Lil John
Fieldy (bass) played by Xzibit
Munky (guitar) played by Snoop Dogg
David (drums) played by David Banner
Now back to the original topic.. The kid is good for his age, but this definetly isn't sponserable. Tell him to learn how to tre flip. He needs to learn how to tre.

he is good(better than me) but he landed alot of thos sketchy and there were no grinds or stalls(you should add some in there..) but for now, good

02-19-2006, 03:28 AM
you need to get your flips higer it looks like the tail is touching the ground the whole time, also like everyones saying alot more aother stuff, it looks like you threw it all together in one day, not the best idea to get sponsered, but definite potenital.
just skate dude
02-19-2006, 03:35 AM
hes really good but not sponserable yet
Chodeloaf
02-23-2006, 12:24 AM
Haha thats funny... right after that primo thingy and that heelflip, he is pushing himself along. Then he hops onto his board fakie, and then kickturns a 180 making him go normal again. Why didnt he just get on normal and not fakie?
bryce
02-23-2006, 06:01 PM
I dont think that he is sponserable, and that primo flip should defienetly be left out.
i think wait a few years and get better then try and get sponsered
