Stupid Park & Rec People

Uggh in my town we don't have a skatepark really only an old outdoor concrete hockey rink. Well we all brought in stuff to skate on, you know boxes, ramps, rails, etc... Then one day we get there and everything is gone. We were all pretty pissed but we just drug some picnic tables down from a shelter and took the legs off of some of them to make a bank. It's not like we ruined the tables, just unscrewed the legs. We showed up about a week later and this whole section of the 4' 6'' high wall is tore down. It had a nice gap where there was a door so we just left it and skated it. Now there was just an article in the paper saying how we're "criminal vandals" and we caused over $20,000 worth of damage. So now nobody can skate there and we're all going to get ticketed if they see us with a board and I'm under questioning or whatever for the damage. We had funding for a skatepark in the works but that's pretty much screwed, nobody's going to donate money now.

Anyways, sorry for the long post, just needed to vent a little, the whole thing is pissing me off so much.

Ha ha, your lucky you even have a place to skate. I can only skate spots for about 20 minutes each because we get kicked off or the cops called on us. BUT, good news, I heard from some construction guy that a skatepark is being built in my city next year. :)

Show them what's up, you have the right to petition and assembly, have a rally outside of the townhall on skating around with signs.

That'd be awesome to go and protest. I mean the city dishes out enough money to every other sport in the town, what's so wrong with us?

Thats bullshit. Its so stupid how people look at skaters even today. People think we're trouble causing punks, or at least thats what I get from people who live around me.
