Alright guys i'm not totally a newbie just for starters, i used to skateboard but kinda put it down for a while, i never had a real good name brand skateboard so that kinda put me behind as it was, anyways on to the reason i'm here
i don't know what kinda board setup to go with, alright i'm debating between Alien Workshop, popwar, or FIGHT! (only because i've heard really good things on this site) the weird thing is only on this site have i read stuff about these, i don't know what it is, are you guys biased to this board because the manufacturer guy's on here or something ( i think that's who he is) anyways, after i decide on the deck i don't know what size to go with , between 7.5 - 7.75, and as far as trucks are concerned if i had a 7.5" deck would 7.75 trucks be too big? i don't really know much about that kind of stuff. I really am looking toward Venture trucks because i've heard great things about them. Then to finish my setup i'm just gonna get some blank wheels and go with Bones SWISS bearings (not the ceramic ones because i don't feel the need to dish out more money on something i'm learning on) so if anyone has any suggestions or comments on the brands i've chosen please tell me also help me with my sizing issues, thankss

Your setup is great.

For the deck, Alien Workshop and Popwar are awesome, but I haven't skated FIGHT! yet. For the size, I'd recommend 7.75. If you want a 7.5 deck, then 7.75 trucks would be a little bigger than the deck, but it won't affect your tricks or anything. Venture trucks are good, but I'd go with Thunder trucks instead (unless they cost too much). Bones Swiss bearings are good.

Go with the Fight! dude, i have one, they are sturdy as hell, feels like im riding a tank, and they r light so i dont kno what tricks they use on that but yea, and the pop and concave kick ass, i like it better then my popwar but thats my opinion.

If you ask about FIGHT! You'll only get positive feedback or posts that mysteriously vanish.

Size is personal preference, stand on some decks in a store to see what you like best.

Personally I skate 7.75.

By the way, you totally missed our point...

Any of the three decks will be good. I have Ventures and I love them. I skate 7.5 and thats all I skate but like Soapurb said, its all preference.

^Those are awesome. Get those. And Thunder's are the best. You'll have like the best setup possible...as your first board.
